The Event

Saturday 3rd October 2015…Save the date!!

event-2015-flyer-02 copy copyWe are delighted to announce that on 3rd October 2015 we shall be hosting at St Andrew’s Church, Canterbury, our second Reflex Creative Arts: The Event conference led by the Reflex Creative Arts team including worship led by Tom Read, (Worship Central) and keynote speaker Carl Tinnion. It’s an exciting next step on our continuing journey to explore the different ways in which we can use the arts in church, as well as discover new areas of creativity you might have never thought of before!.

Last year was such a great occasion with many of you enjoying the times of worship in the main sessions, as well as the seminars, and so at the end of the day there will be the chance to gather together to join with our monthly “We Will Worship” evenings to really let our creativity out as we worship God. Take, Open, Create is a day event for all those wanting a chance to dig deep with God and explore their creativity in new and exciting ways!

What’s it all about?

We have a passion to see people released into their God given creativity. We love to create as an expression of being made by a creative God. We recognise that using our creativity in church isn’t always easy. So many churches fail to value the arts due to lack of understanding, resources, lack of vision or simply being held back by fear! Our hope is that this conference will help to unlock your creativity, inspire you to step out in the arts, and connect us with one another as we move forward together as we return to our churches and homes to be creative people for God’s glory.

Who’s it for?

We hope to inspire and equip all kinds of individuals interested in exploring the arts in church. Church leaders, worship leaders, amateurs and professional artists alike are welcome.

As a guide we recommend that this conference is best suited for over 18s, although under 18s are welcome if they are accompanied with a responsible adult.
